Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to perform the essential functions.
• Associate's degree in related healthcare field preferred.
• State license or registration as Pharmacy Technician required per state law (upon hire).
• PTCB or NHA certification upon hire (required).

Responsibilities

• Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
• Prepares and fills medication orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Supports medication billing, charges, and inventory records.
• Prepares labeling for prepackaged and bulk medications.
• Oversees restocking and maintenance of pharmaceuticals in compliance with standards.
• Assists in training and competency assessments of new staff.
• Participates in quality assurance and process improvement activities.
• Responds to inventory and regulatory documentation requirements.
