PharMerica, affiliated with BrightSpring Health Services, is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician in Sacramento, CA, to support long-term care and senior living clients in a closed-door environment.

You will fill prescriptions, label and package medications, and manage inventory while supporting training and onboarding of staff. California license and pharmacy experience are required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications.
• Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, and effective oral communication.

Responsabilités

• Fill prescription items and package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Label products with cautionary and auxiliary labels.
• Prepare medications including non-sterile compounding.
• Enter patient and prescription data into the system to generate labels.
• Assist with inventory management and handling returned medications.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff.
• Operate specialized tasks in narcotics and automated machines.
• Mix IV medications and sanitize IV room/equipment.
