Meijer Inc. in Traverse City, MI is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician Level 1 to join our community-focused team. You will retrieve medications, enter prescriptions, and help with labeling and insurance claims while maintaining a clean, confidential, and professional pharmacy area.

You will support inventory, order entry, and medication stocking, while promoting pharmacy services and ensuring accurate, timely patient care and customer service at every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Prioritizing workload.
• Using effective communication skills and be agent of change.
