Meijer Inc. in Avon, IN is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician Level 1 to join our family-focused team. You will help ensure accurate dispensing, maintain patient confidentiality, and deliver remarkable customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy.

You’ll retrieve medications, input prescription data into the dispensing system, assist with insurance claims, stock shelves, and support pharmacy initiatives while upholding a clean, professional environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; state requirements apply.
• Retail/Community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient typing and neat handwriting required.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve medications from inventory.
• Input prescription and customer data into dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Handle paperwork for filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order medications for the Pharmacy Department.
