Job summary

NCH Naples-based Pharmacy Technician position is responsible for medication order entry, delivery, AcuDose operations, and inventory management under Florida law. The role includes compounding IV admixtures after competency and assisting staff training with the pharmacy supervisor.

Qualified candidates are registered Florida Techs with national certification and strong math/communication skills. This full-time post requires flexibility in scheduling and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• One-year formal education or training beyond High School.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.
• Good math and communication skills required.
• Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Florida.
• Maintain National Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Responsibilities

• Fills stock requisitions and patient medication orders accurately.
• Performs AcuDose operations with accuracy and proper documentation.
• Completes computer functions (Powerchart/PharmNet, print operation, charges/credits).
• Maintains efficiency and productivity within the department.
• Assists Pharmacy Management and trains new staff when needed.
• Gives information to callers and relays questions to a pharmacist.
