Humana is seeking a Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 - Item Entry to enter prescriptions from physicians into our ePost system for downstream processing. This remote role supports multiple centers and requires precise data entry, adherence to quality standards, and strong collaboration with clinical teams.

The position offers a 40-hour workweek, occasional travel for training, and compensation in the $40,000–$52,300 yearly range, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration with the state board (AZ or OH).
• 1+ year of experience in retail, clinical or mail order pharmacy.

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2- Item Entry: Entering prescriptions in ePost sent by physicians to be further processed by other departments.

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2- Item Entry performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments.

• Perform computations
• Meet or exceed department production and quality goals/metrics
• Interpret area/department policy and methods to complete assignments
• Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards
• Works under minimal direction with independent discretion

Required Qualifications

• Must have an active license/registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of Arizona or Ohio
• 1 or more years of experience in retail, clinical or mail order pharmacy setting
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• National certification through PTCB CphT or NHA ExCPT

Additional Information

• Work Hours: 8-hour shift Monday-Friday typically sometime between the hours of 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. within your time zone (Based on business need)
• Overtime (Can include late evenings or weekends) based on needs.
• Work Style : Remote (Must live in the state of Arizona or Ohio)

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
