Qualifications

• Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Technician Diploma through recognized programs (e.g., Live Better U, Penn Foster) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage medication inventory using FIFO to minimize shrinkage and expiration.
• Enter and update pharmaceutical information in inventory systems and prepare operational reports.
• Support prescription fulfillment in a Central Fill Pharmacy using barcode systems.
• Monitor inventory movement, perform recalls, dispose of hazardous waste, and coordinate returns for credit.
• Maintain pharmacy technology and automated equipment, calibrate devices, and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist pharmacists and ensure compliance with regulations and Walmart policies.
• Follow Walmart leadership standards and contribute to a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
