Job summary

Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County seeks an OPS Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacy Manager with ensuring compliant procedures, quality assurance, and accurate medication documentation.

You will operate a vehicle for daily medication distribution, verify orders, manage inventory, and coordinate with programs to meet needs while maintaining cold chain for vaccines. Strong record-keeping and knowledge of QS/1 are required.

Qualifications

Knowledge of record-keeping procedures.
Ability to maintain accurate records and document medications.
Working knowledge of QS/1 Pharmacy Software and related systems.

Responsibilities

Assist Pharmacy Manager with procedures to ensure compliance with Central Pharmacy policies.
Operate a vehicle for daily medication distribution to DOH Central Pharmacy and programs.
Receive, verify, and reconcile requisitions; maintain inventory and cold chain integrity.
Coordinate with DOH programs to determine medication needs and bulk orders.
Perform on-site analysis to resolve operational problems and ensure quality assurance.
