Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Southeast Florida in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an Inventory Pharmacy Technician to monitor and maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure adequate supply for operations. The role will involve processing orders, organizing shelves, and updating NDCs in a fast-paced, onsite setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of related experience, a Pharmacy Technician license or certification, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration; National Certification preferred (PTCB).
1+ years of related experience; advanced degree may substitute for experience.
Inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

Receive, process, unpack and check in orders on daily basis.
Place and organize inventory on shelves. Ensure products are labeled.
Perform daily cycle count activities and inventory audits.
Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels. Restock shelves from overstock daily.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm

This role will be performed onsite at a closed-door pharmacy in Boca Raton, FL.

All patient interactions will be over the phone.

Comprehensive training provided side by side with training team.

Must be comfortable working in a high-volume environment.

Job Description and Responsibilities

The Inventory Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting in monitoring and maintaining the pharmacy inventory. Ensures pharmacy has sufficient supply of inventory to meet operational needs while maintaining targeted inventory levels.

Essential Job Functions

Receive, process, unpack and check in orders on daily basis
Place and organize inventory on shelves. Ensure products are labeled.
Perform daily cycle count activities and inventory audits
Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels. Restock shelves from overstock daily. Remove outdated products from shelves for return.
Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
Assist with maintaining pharmacy system by updating NDCs in a timely manner
Participate in quarterly physical inventory.
May assist in filling and packaging of prescriptions
May assist with submitting all regular daily orders to ensure availability of products and smooth workflow in the pharmacy
Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Education and Certifications

High School Diploma or GED required
Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB)

Skills and Qualifications

1+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
Inventory Management skills
Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required
Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
Great attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies
