Job summary

Wellpath in Colorado is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to dispense prescriptions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist and handle administrative tasks. You will maintain inventory, verify stock, and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure accurate medication handling.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a state technician license/certification, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification as required by the state of employment.
• Prefer a minimum of one year experience.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medical prescriptions and perform administrative duties as directed by the Site Physician or Charge Nurse.
• Maintain inventory records, receive and store incoming supplies, and verify stock.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare personnel as needed.
• Assist healthcare professionals within the scope of pharmacy technician certification.
• Adhere to infection control techniques and principles, while respecting patient dignity and confidentiality.
