Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time role in our store. You will support the pharmacy team with prescription fulfillment, customer service, and adherence to SOPs while maintaining patient safety and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include assisting with immunizations where permitted, inventory tasks, and providing compassionate service to patients and caregivers during busy shifts. Training and licensing requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• State licensure rules may include minimum age and education requirements.
• Two key qualifications focus on licensing and ongoing certifications to dispense medications.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and customer-facing service.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
• Deliver compassionate care by addressing patient questions, immunizations, and vaccine-related services where allowed.
• Complete basic inventory tasks and support regulatory compliance and recordkeeping.
