Job summary

CVS Health is hiring Pharmacy Technicians to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, efficient prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient experiences across store locations. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and point-of-care services as allowed by law, and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and safety.

Candidates must meet state licensing requirements, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be willing to complete required training and certification

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Assist pharmacists with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and customer service.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation.
• Provide empathetic customer service and help patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Complete basic inventory tasks and support cycle counts and returns-to-stocks.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
