Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician across our Illinois CVS locations. You will support the pharmacy team, process prescriptions, and help ensure safe, accurate medication fulfillment, while delivering compassionate customer service.

Role requires completing state registration; training program; ability to work nights/weekends; willingness to travel across the market stores as needed; immunization support where allowed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing pharmacy practice.
• If the state board does not mandate a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address minimum education, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to safe and effective pharmacy operations by following SOPs and assisting pharmacists.
• Support immunization services and vaccine-related activities where allowed by law.
• Assist with basic inventory tasks and ensure accurate labeling and dispensing workflows.
• Maintain patient privacy and adhere to all applicable laws and CVS policies.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and potential travel to stores in the market as needed.
