Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our retail pharmacy team in Indiana. You will support the pharmacy staff in delivering accurate prescriptions, patient services, and immunization-related tasks while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist patients with empathy and caring at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Complete basic inventory activities and cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories, etc.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and be receptive to feedback; expand clinical and technical knowledge.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility and travel to stores as needed by the business.
• Comply with all laws and CVS policies to ensure patient safety, privacy, and security.
• Deliver additional patient health care services where allowed by law and training.
