Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky seeks a Pharmacy Technician III to support outpatient infusion services and assist in sterile compounding under supervision.

Requires national certification, Kentucky and Indiana registrations within 30 days of hire, and at least 6 months hospital pharmacy experience; USP 797 knowledge a plus.

Day shift, full-time, with benefits including insurance, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and retirement plan.

Qualifications

Certified Pharmacy Technician required
6 months hospital pharmacy experience required
Knowledge of USP 797 and sterile compounding
Registration with KY Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire
Registration with IN Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

Assemble and distribute medications for department
Assist in ordering, receiving, storage, and monitoring medication use
Perform unit-dose packaging, labeling, and restocking under supervision
Assist with sterile product preparation and cost containment of CSPs
Ensure infection control and maintain clean, organized pharmacy area

Skills

Certification by nationally recognized

Hospital pharmacy experience

Education

Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician OR Pharmacy Intern license
