Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintains current Pharmacy Technician registration with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy.
• Holds a current Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate (CPht) from a nationally recognized program.

Responsibilities

• Assists with operational and distribution responsibilities related to Pharmacy Technician functions.
• Assists the Pharmacist in all duties pertaining to medication distribution and aseptic technique.
• Maintains USP 797 standards and other regulatory documentation.
• Demonstrates safety, emergency and risk management procedures.
• Participates in training of new pharmacy technicians and may verify competency.
