Job summary

The Oregon Department of Corrections is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk & Technician 2 in Wilsonville to run the on-site drug room and support patient care staff. You will maintain medication inventories, assist with ordering and security, and ensure compliance with state and federal rules.

Qualifications

• One year of training/experience with medical terminology, abbreviations, and pharmacy terms.
• Ability to compute dosages and read drug names accurately.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and ordering procedures.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical storage and maintenance.
• Current Pharmacy Technician registration with Oregon State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Operate the on-site drug room and provide technical pharmacy support.
• Maintain adequate medication quantities and medical supplies.
• Handle ordering, receiving, sorting, inventory and security tasks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal statutes.
