A leading healthcare provider in Rhode Island is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in medication preparation and distribution. Responsibilities include preparing medications and documenting patient medication histories. Candidates must have a high school diploma, a Pharmacy Technician Training Program background, and a Rhode Island Technician II License. This part-time role requires weekend availability with specific evening hours.
Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in all aspects of the medication preparation and distribution processes. Duties include preparation of medications for distribution to automatic dispensing cabinets, repackaging into unit-dose blister packs, and various medication inventory functions.
Technicians will also participate in the documentation of medication histories of patient at the point of admission and assist the pharmacist in performing routine duties in hospital pharmacy.
Part Time 8/16 - Every Other Weekend Only 2:30p-11p
Must have availability during week to train.
