Job summary

Mercy Primary Care clinics seeks a Pharmacy Technician to complete and submit prior authorizations, ensuring patients receive medications in a timely manner. You will work with a collaborative team to support patient access and departmental goals.

Qualified candidates will have CPHT certification within 6 months, active State Board registration, a high school diploma, EPIC experience, and at least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience. Mercy offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

This position plays a critical role ensuring patients have timely access to necessary medications by completing and submitting prior authorization for Mercy Primary Care clinics. Works cooperatively with others as part of a team and recognizes the importance of group goals.

Position Details:

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Licensure:

• CPHT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (obtained within 6 months of hire)

• Actively registered and in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit application for registration by first day of employment. This includes submitting fingerprints for FBI background check.
