Tucson Medical Center Rincon is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II PD to assist pharmacists in processing and labeling prescriptions, and to help manage pharmacy operations. This per diem role involves delivering medications, restocking supplies, and performing compounding tasks under supervision.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of pharmacy technician experience, and active Arizona license with CPR/BLS certification.

Under the direction of a pharmacist assists in processing and compounding prescriptions and other drug orders. Pulls prescribed medication from shelf, enters medication charges into the computer, restocks pharmacy automation, and handles telephone inquiries. Able to perform proficiencies of Pharmacy Technician Level I.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
Due to insurance company requirements, incumbent must be 21 years of age or older, due to incremental use of a company car.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Valid Arizona driver’s license.Licensed by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician required. Heartsaver CPR (HSCPR or HSFACPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
