Job summary
Baptist Health Princeton Hospital is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support distribution and operations using Orlando Health systems as needed.
The role assists pharmacists, handles medication distribution with proper aseptic techniques, and ensures compliance with safety and USP 797 standards. ALL benefits start on day one, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, HSA/FSA, PTO, life insurance, and tuition assistance. This on-site position offers competitive pay.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintains Pharmacy Technician registration with the relevant state board.
- Greater than one year up to four years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
Responsibilities
- Assists with safety, emergency and risk management procedures.
- Supports the Pharmacy department operations and drug procurement.
- Assists Pharmacist with medication distribution and aseptic techniques.
- Operates equipment required for pharmacy procedures per policies.
- Maintains USP 797 standards and regulatory documentation.
- Participates in training of new pharmacy technicians.
