Job summary

Jubilant Radiopharma in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II for full-time employment. The technician will help ensure product quality and support sterile product preparation under pharmacist supervision, with a 2:00am–10:00am shift. Requires a high school diploma and 1+ year medical environment experience. Weekend/call rotation occurs monthly; hourly rate is $28.00.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience in medical environment preferred.
• Nuclear pharmacy experience an asset.
• Clean room experience preferred.
• Night shift experience preferred.
• Maintains licensure/certification as required by Board of Pharmacy; completes CE as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties to ensure the quality of products and proper functioning of equipment.
• May participate in preparation and dispensing of sterile products under direct pharmacist supervision.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of products to customers.
• Operate in compliance with Board of Pharmacy requirements.

Work schedule 2:00am-10:00am with weekend and call rotation once per month

Hourly rate $28.00

The Pharmacy Technician II performs duties to ensure the quality of products and proper functioning of equipment while working within the limitations of standard methods and procedures. May participate in preparation and dispensing of sterile products under direct pharmacist supervision, if allowed by the Board of Pharmacy.

Requirements include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• 1+ years’ experience in medical environment preferred;
• Nuclear pharmacy experience an asset
• Clean room experience preferred
• Night shift experience preferred
• Achieves and maintains appropriate licensure/certification as required by Board of Pharmacy; Must complete CE or retraining as required by Board of Pharmacy;
• Basic math skills, including decimals and fractions, where interpretation is required;
• Strong organizational skills along with effective time management skills;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Customer focused; team oriented;
• Light, occasional physical effort required to move, lift and deliver containers and boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of products to customers while complying with instructions and prescribed routines, methods or procedures;
