Job summary

Partners Pharmacy in New Jersey is hiring a Pharmacy Technician II for a 24-hour cassette technician position at our Springfield location. The role supports filling prescriptions, packaging, inventory, and training new staff in a long-term care setting.

Requirements include State Board-registered technician status, 1+ year experience, and excellent communication. Evening hours and holidays apply. We offer competitive pay and benefits with opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• PTCB license is a plus.
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience in long-term care or retail pharmacy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Print/Sort Labels for filling prescriptions.
• Assist with processing of pharmacy orders, including assembling items, packaging, labeling and paperwork.
• Process and update Emergency Kits.
• Maintain cleanliness in pharmacy area.
• Package/Seal Blister Packs and complete packaging logs.
• Operate packaging machines.
• Prepare orders for bagging/delivery.
• Assist with inventory.
• Check shelves for expired/damaged meds.
• Assist with return drug procedures.
• Stock medications.
• Monitor and perform back order procedures.
• Assist with training of new employees.
