The role supports pharmacists, handles inventory, and provides courteous service to patients within a community health setting. Candidates should hold a Kansas Pharmacy Tech License, a high school diploma or equivalent, and complete required continuing education.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required or in progress with proof of good standing.
  • Valid Kansas Pharmacy Tech License required for this role.
  • Must complete continuing education as required by CHC/SEK policies.
  • Complete Pharmacy Technician I checklist within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Process prescriptions accurately into the computer system and verify with the pharmacist.
  • Stock inventory, remove expired items, and manage deliveries and mail outs.
  • Provide friendly, patient-focused service and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
  • Support pharmacy operations and communicate with prescribers as needed.
