Job summary

Mercy Pharmacy Dierbergs - Fenton Crossing is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications. The role is PRN with responsibilities to follow federal, state, and local regulations to ensure patient safety.

Position requires active Missouri Pharmacy Technician registration or willingness to apply by day one, plus completion of department orientation. Education is a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
• Licensure: Actively registered, in good standing, with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit registration by first day of work (includes fingerprints for FBI background check).
• Experience: 1-year relevant pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Other: Successfully complete pharmacy department orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Follow applicable standards and state/federal/local laws and regulations for patient safety.

Education
