Position

Manchester Memorial is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our inpatient Pharmacy Department. The role involves assisting in performing pharmaceutical functions under the supervision and direction of the Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Processing and filling prescriptions accurately
• Assisting the customers of the Emergency Department
• Working with our specialty pharmacy liaisons to ensure the needs of our specialty patients are met

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
• Current National Pharmacy Technician Certification is strongly preferred.
• Pharmacy registration with Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection within 30 days of hire and by March 31st of each year.
• Prior experience as pharmacy technician preferable.
