Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to join the Hospital Pharmacy team in Lexington, KY. The role involves processing medication orders, delivering medications to nursing units, and supporting pharmacists in daily operations.

Responsibilities include managing medication distribution, ensuring accuracy, and utilizing technology to support pharmacy workflows. This is a Full-Time position with day and night shifts, requiring Kansas?

Qualifications

• Must register with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (KY hospitals) within 30 days of hire date if new registrant; registration upon hire if already registered.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Tech Certification within 6 months.

The Department of Pharmacy Services of Baptist Health Lexington provides pharmaceutical services to patients across the continuum of care. These services include, but are not limited to verification of medication orders, drug distribution, sterile product preparation, hazardous drug preparation, and utilization of automated dispensing cabinets. In addition, decentralized pharmacists provide services such as management of pharmacy dosing consults, provision of drug information, therapeutic recommendations, and participation in daily multidisciplinary rounds.
