Job summary

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician I, you will play an integral role on the core team of a mission-driven, fast growing organization that's eliminating barriers to health for families in Georgia. You'll manage incoming medication orders, fill prescriptions and help lead our inventory management.

In this role, you will be responsible for...
  • Managing incoming medication orders, using incredible attention to detail to pick the correct medication from a large inventory of donated drugs.
  • Filling prescriptions accurately, repacking donated drugs from unit-dose packaging into patient vials.
  • Leading inventory management, pulling expired products, entering new products into inventory software and ordering necessary supplies like vials and envelopes.
  • Performing other administrative and operations tasks, as necessary.

  • You're committed and consistent. This is a full-time position of 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6pm. You must be committed to excellent performance and consistent in showing up on-time, all the time.

Physical requirements: Able to frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat and use light/fine grasping. Able to frequently sit and stand, reach above shoulders, perform desk based computer tasks, write by hand, lift, carry, push, stack, and pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.
