Meijer is seeking a dedicated pharmacy technician in Westerville, OH to support patient care and pharmacy operations. You will retrieve medications, input data, process insurance claims, and help maintain a clean, compliant pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve medications from inventory
• Enter patient and prescription data into the dispensing system
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims
• Process paperwork for prescriptions and drug orders
• Order prescription medication for Pharmacy Department
• Stock medications and maintain a clean, orderly pharmacy
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers
• Prioritize workload

What You'll be Doing:

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Prioritizing workload.
• Using effective communication skills and be agent of change.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly pharmacy for a professional appearance.
• Maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
