JobRx, Inc. in Chadron, Nebraska, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in dispensing, order interpretation, and routine inventory tasks within a hospital environment.
The role is full-time, 30-40 hours per week, with benefits after 60 days. Candidates should have a high school diploma and seek National Pharmacy Technician Certification; hospital experience is preferred, with strong communication and motor skills.

Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm
Saturday, 8am-12pm
Rotate weekend coverage
This is a benefited position after 60 days.
A non-professional health care employee who, under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, performs specific job responsibilities authorized by the Board of Pharmacy Rules and Regulations. A pharmacy technician is expected to maintain the safety, integrity and professionalism of the practice of pharmacy.
Perform IV additive functions and total parenteral nutrition preparation as directed by pharmacist.
Operate the unit dose packaging equipment as needed.
Answer telephones receive and relay messages as needed.
Respect and preserve patient confidential information.
Attend department staff meetings and in-service programs. Participate in hospital committees as required.
Be alert to accident-producing hazards and promotion of safety; knowledgeable of fire and evacuation plans/protocols.
Prioritize tasks and make economical use of time, supplies and equipment.
Keep pharmacy areas and equipment clean and in proper order.
