Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Southeast Florida in Boca Raton, FL seeks a Pharmacy Technician I to support high-volume prescription filling and packaging. Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will verify information, prepare orders, label packaging, and assist with inventory management in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a Pharmacy Technician license/certification, and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 1+ years of related experience; technical knowledge may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of medications not scanning properly.
• Participate in training to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Maintain inventory levels; ensure adequate supply and organize stock.

May assist in physical inventory.Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.Maintain clean and orderly workstation.
