Saliba's Extended Care Pharmacy, part of the Guardian family, seeks a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I in Phoenix, AZ. Under a Registered Pharmacist, you will fill and package prescriptions for delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related experience in pharmacy or fulfillment.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with pharmacy systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate across shifts and roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling prescribed medications from inventory.
• Apply labels to packaging, scan and assemble into bins accurately and timely.
• Notify pharmacist on duty of any issues with scanning or labeling.
• Participate in training to gain proficiency in other fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and removing expired or unused medications.
• Consistently meet established accuracy and productivity targets.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and operations.
• Keep workstation clean and stocked; replenish supplies as needed.
• Comply with state and federal laws and pharmacy policies.
• Support additional duties as assigned.

Position Details

• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, (Sunday: 10:00 am - 6:30 pm, Monday - Thursday, 8 am - 4:30 pm)
• Pay: $18.00 -$20.00
• Location: Saliba's Pharmacy - 925 E Covey Lane, Phoenix, AZ 85024

Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for the filling and packaging of prescriptions in an accurate and timely manner for delivery to our customers.

Essential Job Functions (include The Following)

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins in an accurate and timely manner.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Participate in training and development activities to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication available to complete all orders.
• Assist in maintaining inventory at appropriate levels, including removing expired or unused meds, marking used bottles and keeping inventory neat and arranged in-order. May assist in physical inventory.
• Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.
• Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.
• Maintain clean and orderly workstation. Put medications away and replenish all stock supplies needed.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications.
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Education And Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB)

Skills And Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience (technical knowledge/skills may substitute for experience)
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
• Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies
