Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Jacksonville is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I in Jacksonville, FL. This onsite role supports high-volume prescription fulfillment under a Registered Pharmacist, with comprehensive training and a robust benefits package.

You will verify prescriptions, label packaging, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with laws while delivering accurate, timely service to customers over the phone and in-person at a closed-door setting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
  • Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB)
  • 1+ years of related experience (technical knowledge/skills may substitute for experience).
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
  • Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
  • Participate in training and development activities to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
  • Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication available to complete all orders.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory at appropriate levels, including removing expired or unused meds, marking used bottles and keeping inventory neat and arranged in-order. May assist in physical inventory.
  • Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.
  • Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintain clean and orderly workstation. Put medications away and replenish all stock supplies needed.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications.
  • Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Schedule: Varying shifts between 6-2:30, 7-3:30,8-4:30, 9:30-6,10-6:30, 11:30-8 . We also work holidays and weekends. You will go into the weekend rotation once fully trained. You will work 9:30-6 while training then transition to a closing position.
  • I am looking for a flexible, fast pace, multitasking Technician. We are a high volume pharmacy and we need someone who has the ability to be flexible and have no scheduling restrictions.

We are seeking a reliable and dependable overnight technician who can multitask effectively and is eager to grow with the company.

This role will be performed onsite at a closed-door pharmacy in Jacksonville, FL. All patient interactions will be over the phone.

Comprehensive training provided side by side with training team.

Must be comfortable working in a high-volume environment.

Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for the filling and packaging of prescriptions in an accurate and timely manner for delivery to our customers.
