Job summary

Omnicell is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our local Ohio team. You will support the pharmacist in dispensing medications, verify dosages, and ensure safety and accuracy in daily operations within a patient‑centered environment.

Responsibilities include accurate data entry, friendly patient interaction, and learning about specialty medications while growing your career at Omnicell in a collaborative, compliant setting with weekends off and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Active CPhT certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required or accepted.
• State-board license/registration as applicable by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and by phone; listen and guide patients calmly.
• Learn about specialty diseases to better serve patients and grow professionally.
• Enter patient, medication, billing, and sales data accurately in systems.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Help the pharmacist prepare and dispense medications to ensure patients get the right medication and the right dosage every time.
• Provide exceptional and personalized customer service for patients through in‑person and phone communication and active listening; help patients navigate stress with calm, ease, and guidance.

What You’ll Bring

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• License/Registration from the State Board of Pharmacy non‑expired (if required by state).
• Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT): PTCB or ExCPT tests accepted.
• Working knowledge of Pharmacy Technician / Medical Office / Healthcare industry experience.

Work Environment And Physical Demands

• This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
