Job summary

Omnicell is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our local community pharmacy operations. You will assist the pharmacist, ensure accurate medication dispensing, and deliver exceptional patient service in a friendly, non-retail setting.

Responsibilities include data entry, patient communication, and growth within a global, innovative company focused on improving medication management and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• State Board license/registration (if required by state).
• Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT): PTCB or ExCPT accepted.
• Experience in Pharmacy/Medical Office/Healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to ensure accuracy.
• Provide personalized customer service to patients in person and by phone.
• Learn and understand specialty diseases to better serve patients.
• Enter patient, medication, billing, and sales data into systems accurately and efficiently.
• Support pharmacy team and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Help the pharmacist prepare and dispense medications to ensure patients get the right medication and the right dosage every time

What You’ll Bring

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED


• License/Registration from the State Board of Pharmacy non-expired (If required by state)


• Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT): PTCB or ExCPT tests accepted.


• Working knowledge of Pharmacy Technician / Medical Office / Healthcare industry experience

Work Environment And Physical Demands

• This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds


• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
