Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy team member to support dispensing and customer service within a busy pharmacy department.

You will retrieve medications, enter prescriptions, print labels, and manage insurance claims while prioritizing tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities include stocking medications, processing drug orders, and promoting clinic services, all while maintaining confidentiality and a clean, professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Prioritizing workload.
• Using effective communication skills and be agent of change.
