Job summary

Times Supermarket is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide efficient and courteous service, process prescriptions, assist the Pharmacist, handle payments, file insurance, and support inventory in the Pharmacy and OTC areas. Strong English communication and math skills are essential.

The role requires high school completion, good math aptitude, and prior cashiering experience is a plus. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with standard benefits and non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or within 1 year with good math aptitude preferred.
• Math and metric knowledge.
• Cashiering experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and assist the Pharmacist in filling prescriptions.
• Collect payments and provide correct change.
• Monitor inventory levels in Pharmacy and OTC sections.
• Receive, unpack, and check in-coming pharmacy drugs and supplies.
• Provide courteous customer service.
