Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Six months of related work experience or Pharmacy Technician externship at Stanford Hospital and Clinics, Department of Pharmacy is required.
• CA Licensed Pharmacy Technician or Intern Pharmacist is required.
• Ability to perform routine calculations and maintain accurate records.

Responsabilités

• Enter medication orders into the pharmacy system and operate dispensing equipment under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain medication inventory and handle stock replacement orders.
• Receive and inspect stock deliveries for accuracy and storage compliance.
• Perform routine inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Operate and maintain automated dispensing machines and systems.
• Monitor expiration dates and minimize waste by removing expired items.
• Document inventory transactions and keep records per policy.
• Prepare, package, label and have final pharmacist checks for non-sterile drug products.
