Job summary

Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a pharmacy technician to support pharmacists with technical and operational duties in a busy hospital setting. You will train new technicians, manage data entry, prepare IV medications, handle inventory, purchases, and dispensing, while maintaining accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required) or Associate's Degree in science related field and 1 year of hospital experience as a hospital Pharmacy technician (Preferred)
• Minimum Work Experience: 2 years Experience in a hospital (Preferred)
• Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Registered Pharmacy technician in the District of Columbia (Required)
• Strong data entry; read/write/speak English fluently; time management and organizational skills; excellent written and oral communication; Microsoft Office proficiency; inventory control; purchasing and invoicing; customer service
