Job summary

Apotheco Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for evenings, with weekends off, in Pittsburgh, PA. The role offers full-time hours and a competitive hourly pay range.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, managing inventory, insurance verification, and ensuring accurate patient information. Excellent phone presence and customer service are essential, with Pharmacy experience preferred but not mandatory.

Pharmacy Technician - Evenings and Weekends Off!

Salary Range: $18.00 To $22.00 Hourly

Apotheco Pharmacy is looking for a someone who is as passionate about patient care as we are! Your job duties will include but are not limited to:

• Label and prepare products for patients.
• Process prescriptions using computer software.
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies.
• Keep the pharmacy clean and organized.
• Complete insurance verification.
• Apply manufacturers coupons if applicable.
• Bill and charge credit cards.
• Keep patient information up to date.

Most of our communication with patients is through the phone, so you must have an excellent phone presence, including being friendly, professional, and well spoken. Although we do not require pharmacy experience, it is appreciated!

Education/Experience:

High School Graduate (or equivalent) is required. Previous experience in pharmacy or other related Healthcare fields preferred.
