Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking a licensed pharmacist to support patient care in our pharmacy. You will retrieve medications, process prescriptions, label and adjudicate insurance, and manage drug orders to ensure accuracy and safety.

You will prioritize workload, maintain a clean, confidential, and professional pharmacy environment, and promote clinical services to customers while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Retail/Community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Accurate data entry and typing skills.
• Strong organizational and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.

• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
