Job summary
Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician/Delivery Driver to support mental health and specialty pharmacy operations in Rockford, IL. Primary duties include dispensing prescriptions, clerical tasks, and occasional deliveries under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm. The role requires a Illinois Pharmacy Technician license, national certification, reliable transportation, and ability to use a company vehicle for
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is required
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification required
- Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license
- Ability to use your own car for deliveries if company vehicle isn’t working
Responsibilities
- Make deliveries approximately half the day using a company vehicle
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff
- Fill prescription orders and prepare them for pharmacist verification
- Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies
- Process wholesaler medication orders and maintain inventory records
- Assist pharmacist with pharmacy operations and compliance with regulations
- Perform clerical duties and communicate professionally
