You must hold SCBOP registration and complete the PTCB exam within 6 months of hire; education required is a High School degree or equivalent; 40-hour work week; MUSC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Competenze

• Education: High School Degree or Equivalent.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP).
• Must complete the PTCB board certification exam and pass within 6 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions.
• Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information.
• Receives and stocks incoming supplies.
• May prepare labels and routine prepacked orders.
• May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department.
