Job summary

Home Life Healthcare Corp. in New York is seeking a detail-oriented pharmacy technician support specialist responsible for entering medication orders, maintaining patient and facility data, and ensuring accurate billing each month.

You will travel to homes when needed, assist in training new staff, and complete mandatory regulatory trainings while delivering reliable customer service and problem resolution for assigned facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AS degree or higher preferred in business administration or related field.
• Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• 3–6 months experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Customer service and data entry accuracy required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must pass pre-employment and/or random drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and problem resolution to assigned facilities.
• Enter patient profiles and medication data accurately.
• Maintain accurate information for patients and facilities.
• Handle billing and crediting for each facility monthly.
• Maintain production levels as directed by supervisor.
• Travel to homes for meetings or drug exchanges as needed.
• Assist in orienting and training new employees.
• Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.

Job Summary:

Responsible for all aspects related to entering the medication orders for various facilities.

Ensuring that all Third Party claims are billed properly.

Job Duties:

• Provides customer service and problem resolution to assigned facilities
• Responsible for accurate data entry of patient profiles and medications
• Maintaining accurate information for patients and facilities
• Responsible for billing and crediting each facility appropriately and accurately each month
• Maintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisor
• May be required to travel to individual homes for meetings or drug exchanges
• May assist in orienting and training new employees
• Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned
