Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy, LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Tulsa team. You will enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system with speed and accuracy, and communicate with customers by phone to meet their needs.

Responsibilities include triaging faxes, ensuring proper notes and codes, and supporting cycle fills, inventory, and order processing. A state license/certification is required, with national certification preferred for advanced roles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
• Pharmacy technician certification or license required by state.
• Strong computer skills and accuracy in data entry.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system accurately and promptly.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Communicate with customers by phone and respond courteously to needs.
• Maintain notes in computer and cycle fill coding.

Ave, Suite 201-203Responsible for entering and processing prescriptions into the pharmacy operating system with both speed and accuracy. Route calls as appropriate to ensure top level serviceEnsure all prescriptions assigned for processing are completed in regular shiftReceive, evaluate, process and follow-up as needed with doctors’ offices on all refills assignedDevelop proficiency in the utilization of all pharmacy systems (ie document imaging, legacy pharmacy computer operating system)On an as needed, may assist with filing of completed orders, packaging of medications, inventory, profiling of orders for medical records, and filling processed prescriptions to dispense to the patientDevelop and learn cycle in order to meet delivery deadlines.
