Job summary

Walgreens in Las Vegas, NM is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision, support prescription processing, and deliver a distinctive customer experience in a busy retail setting.

You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and help train technicians. Evening and weekend availability is preferred.

We value English fluency, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification; retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision with pharmacy duties per policy.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide excellent customer service and help customers find products.
• Handle cash register and assist with inventory management.
• Support accuracy and safety, and report any prescription errors.
• Assist with coordination with external providers as needed.
