The position requires a High School Diploma, 1 year experience, and a valid state pharmacy technician certification. A driver’s license with a clean record is also required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Current state pharmacy technician certification.
• Valid Driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications and supplies for dispensing including pre-packing bulk medications, compounding ointments, creams, oral solutions, and other medications.
• Prepare sterile preparations with adherence to departmental policies.
• Review medication cassettes for returns and unit dosing.
• Transport medications and pharmacy equipment to hospitals daily.
• Assist in training new employees as needed.
• Perform monthly inspections and maintain records.
