Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Certified I for its Retail Pharmacy at 175 Queen City Ave, Elliot Rivers Edge Outpatient Location. This per diem, variable-hours role supports medication preparation and distribution across locations, with shifts Mon-Fri 7AM-7PM, Sat 8:30AM-5PM.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, NH Board of Pharmacy Technician licensure, and National Technician Certification. Prior retail/hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• NH Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• National Technician Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare patient-specific medications per provider orders for pharmacist check.
• Distribute prepared medications to health system locations.
• Maintain automated dispensing cabinet medication inventory.
• Triage telephone calls to pharmacy personnel.
• Repackage and restock medications using automation.
• Perform monthly floor inspections in assigned areas.

About the Job

The Pharmacy Technician Certified I will prepare and distribute medication within Elliot Health System.

• Process and prepare all patient-specific medications as per the provider order for pharmacist check.
• Distribute prepared medications to health system locations.
• Maintain automated dispensing cabinet medication inventory.
• Triage telephone calls to appropriate pharmacy personnel.
• Repackage and restock medications using automation and technology.
• Perform monthly floor inspections in the assigned area locations.
• Serve as pharmacist operational support during assigned shifts.
• Perform monthly floor inspections for medication storage as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: One (1) year previous retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Certification/Licensure: NH Board of Pharmacy Technician required.
• National Technician Certification required.
