CVS Health in Collierville, TN is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join the CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy team. This full-time role supports MS, Oncology, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Transplant and Gastrointestinal specialties.

You will assist customers, manage inventory, operate POS, and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accurate dispensing and excellent service. A $1500 sign-on bonus is offered; required TN registration and CPhT/ExCPT certification.

Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician Registration is required.
• Certification as CPhT or ExCPT is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to specialty product inquiries with technical advice or recommendations.
• Maintain specialty retail operations including inventory management and shelf displays.
• Process transactions using the POS system and handle payments.
• Communicate promotions and updates about products and services.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to ensure timely customer service.

CVS health has an exciting new opportunity as a Pharmacy Technician on our CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy team. The team specializes in MS, Oncology, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, and Transplant and Gastrointestinal diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers by responding to specialty product inquiries and providing technical advice or recommendations for specialty needs.
• Maintains specialty retail store operations by completing inventory management tasks, restocking shelves, and organizing displays.
• Communicates with customers and shares announcements and/or promotions on the latest product releases, features, and technology trends.
• Compiles customer complaints, inquiries, or concerns for senior managers to help improve future customer service outcomes.
• Monitors key sales metrics related to daily, weekly, and monthly sales revenue, units sold, average transaction value, and conversion rates.
• Operates within the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions, handle cash, and operate payment terminals.
• Drives effective team collaborations with specialty retail associates and technicians to provide customers with a positive experience.
• Determines how best to prioritize tasks and manage workloads to ensure the timely completion of customer requests and specialty retail services.
• Performs basic repairs or provides step-by-step instructions to customers to help resolve issues with specialty retail products and/or services.

The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician Registration
• 6+ months experience required in a customer service position within in healthcare, social services, or a similar service position.
• CPhT or ExCPT Certification
• Education High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior authorization experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $25.65 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
