JobRx, Inc. is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician located in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The Technician supports the Pharmacist in the prescription fulfillment process and interacts with customers. Responsibilities include preparing medications, maintaining cleanliness in the pharmacy, and processing transactions. Candidates should have a high school diploma, relevant registration, and customer service experience, with bilingual skills being an asset. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be registered with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
One to three years of customer service experience required.
Valid Driver's License is necessary.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
Don appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Mix pharmaceutical preparations and fill bottles with prescribed medications.
Assist the Pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications.
Answer phone inquiries and assist customers with prescriptions.
Process records of medication dispensed and compute charges.
Ensure cleanliness of work area and equipment.
Set up prescription orders for pickup or delivery.
Collect payments and reconcile the register daily.
